Hello everyone,
I am sorry for missing last week’s blog. I had an inspiration and worked on chapter 19 all day and Saturday. Since my back limits the time I spend in front of the computer, I decided to skip last week.
The revelation for chapter 19 came to me in a dream and woke up Friday morning wanting to put it to paper. This chapter reveals where the Flying People gain their power. This crosses over to Speculative Fiction as it proposes an alternative to our present existence. It exposes the Garden of Eden as a dimension set up on Earth by God to raise Adam and Eve. When they fall from grace, God provides half human and half angel beings to teach them how to live outside the garden. The Hamsia can fly out of the dimension to help people cope with animals that were friendly in the Garden, but will eat them outside the dimension rift.
The whole premise jazzed me and was eager to start writing it. I spent way too much time at the computer on Friday which left my back sore and tingling down my legs. However, it was worth it since this explains the power of the Flyers. I am glad to sacrifice my body for a day to bring interesting plots to my readers.
I am hoping to have the rough draft finished in a couple weeks. Then the arduous task of cleaning it up begins. This last several months as it consist of five or more rewrites getting to where I like it. I am hoping to have the book to market sometime in the fall or early winter.
